On 21 March 2026 my family and I went to Laurenzo’s Prime Rib. We were really looking forward to this meal because of their extensive menu and how highly rated this restaurant is; unfortunately, we left disappointed. We had seating reservations, so there was only a short wait before we were escorted to our table. Disappointingly, our server was snooty from the start because his facial expressions and body language made it abundantly clear that he wasn’t happy that we didn’t order any alcohol; we all ordered peach tea instead. When our peach teas were served, we were also served artisan bread. The bread was delicious, but we couldn’t fully enjoy it because it was served with cold butter that couldn’t be spread. The butter should have been softened. For appetizers, we ordered a small cup of New England clam chowder, guacamole and chips, a jumbo lump crab cake, and two grilled artichokes. The grilled artichokes and jumbo lump crab cakes were pretty good, our 13-year-old daughter liked the guacamole and chips, but the crackers that were served with the New England clam chowder were not oyster crackers and were also very stale. The entrees and sides that we ordered were a meatball sub with fries as the side, yellowfin ahi tuna steak, a “blackened” 20 oz prime rib steak (more on “blackened” below), broccolini, creamed spinach, mac & cheese, beefsteak tomatoes, asparagus, and mascarpone grits. Our 13-year-old daughter liked the meatball sub and fries, the yellowfin ahi tuna steak was good, as were the broccolini, mac & cheese, and mascarpone grits. Unfortunately, however, there are recipes online for creamed spinach which are significantly better than theirs and “blue box” mac & cheese is delicious and costs 99 cents for twice as much volume as what Laurenzo’s serves for almost 10x more money. The beefsteak tomatoes were bland, the asparagus was limp as a boned fish, and the “blackened” 20 oz prime rib wasn’t blackened. The prime rib meat was a beautiful medium-rare temperature, but the blackening seasoning on its faces wasn’t cooked in. Disappointing. In addition to not being properly blackened (aka seared after the spices are applied), the prime rib wasn’t served with any form of horseradish. I asked the server for it, but when it hadn’t arrived after 5 minutes and my expensive steak was getting cold, I went to near the kitchen area to get it. Again, disappointing that this was necessary. When our snooty server came to check on us, he asked how our meal was, so I showed him the limp asparagus and described the details that I mentioned above in this review. To my astonishment, he said, “so?”. My goodness. Laurenzo’s Prime Rib serves very expensive food that isn’t properly cooked and when that’s shown to them, they say “so?”. Really?

The atmosphere was super cool vibes walking in you knew that fifa was here and the servers were all in their teams colors. Super festive. The wait staff suprised me with the team work between them. Now our server. Our server was very inatentive. Yet very pleasant. And the order of half rack ribs... magnificent bold and savory flavor (really woul love the recipe for that sauce)truffle fries... amazing. The surf n turf steak dinner... magnifico truly wonderful cut of beef the flavor (cooked medium) was well seasoned with no compliments needed. The shrimp was absolutely delicious. Overall the experience was worth the revisit I must say. The dessert was Italian cream cake as my first experience, I have to say that the flavor was actually fantastic. Not what I was expecting. Our server didn't ask my coworker at all for his dessert choice and just sat two forks as if we were sharingthe dessert??!!. Odd. Sans the service. The overall experience was honestly well enjoyed. The atmosphere upbeat and positive from business meetings casual get-togethers to bar side entertainment it was a great visit. Eat well friends!!!

This place blew us away, and I can’t believe we’re just now discovering it. I was skeptical when I saw steak, Mexican, and Italian on one menu. Our server was top-notch. She walked us through her recommendations, and we took her advice! My husband had the ribeye, and I tried the filet. Wow. His baked potato was—no exaggeration—the best baked potato I’ve ever had. My French fries were a crispy mountain of dreams (highly suggest asking for mayo to dip those in). Our steaks each had unique flavors, and they were cooked perfectly as we ordered. Both steaks came with a side of delicious bernaise sauce. The margaritas pack a punch, so well worth the money. Best part was the service. From the warm gentleman who greeted us and took us to a comfy booth to our amazing server to the staff who sang my husband happy birthday and made the night super special for us. We will absolutely be back soon!

I was treated to this place for my birthday on the Thursday Steak and Prime Rib Special, and they did not disappoint. The service was attentive and genuine, the steaks (my wife had a NY strip and I had a prime rib) were both divine, and our wine was splendid. Since then I have become their unofficial spokesman and bragged about their food to anyone who cares to listen to me. Visit on Thursday, enjoy the fact you can read the menu without having to take out a flashlight, and be ready to have a great time.
