Allison was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She had great recommendations, kept our drinks full, and made the whole experience fun and welcoming. The food was delicious, but Allison’s service is what really made the night stand out. If you’re dining at Medium Rare, definitely ask for Allison!
I come here quite often and they literally NEVER disappoint! I’ve only ever been on a Saturday or Sunday though so I can’t speak to any other day. I always order the bottomless mimosas and steak & fries meal. The brunch is all inclusive (bottomless drinks and meal of choice from the brunch menu) which totals $34.95. Going anywhere else for a meal and BOTTOMLESS drinks seems like robbery since I’ve been going here lol. Especially being in Houston. Anywhere else you’d spend over $120, EASILY for what you get here. The atmosphere is great as well but the STAFF?! Takes the cakes! They’re absolutely unmatched. I had the pleasure of having Allison serve me this most recent time and she was amazing! Can’t wait to come back next weekend!
Steak was really thin so medium might’ve been overcooked for that reason or the restaurants temps are different than the idea I have but medium rare was really good even though it came out cold which was disappointing. Service was very nice I would’ve like a two bite check in after receiving my food because I would’ve told my server I wanted medium rare earlier, I also had to ask the busser for my bill and more sauce. Side note: I am a server/bartender so I have high expectations. Overall, my biggest disappointment was that my steak was cold. Nonetheless, amazing concept and good flavors.
Really enjoyed dinner here with my boyfriend! The menu is simple and straightforward, offering one set 3 course meal option. We started with the bread and butter, which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, followed by a light and savory salad. The main course was steak and fries covered in their delicious pepper steak sauce, and they even give you two servings of the steak and fries. We sat on the patio this past weekend and had such a great experience. It was quiet, the weather was beautiful, and the nice breeze made dining outside even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!
Heard about the NY branch of this place that I had to try it out for date night. Really interesting concept of a prie-fix menu with second helpings of steak and fries included. The steak frites were good enough (although it won’t blow your socks off). The salad served before tasted clean and simple. The bread was exceptionally good, with a crunchy shattering crust but a pillowy interior and the butter was good too! Service was mostly good, and the ambience was upscale. The paper table toppers were fun as they wrote how we would like our steaks cooked on that.
