Nice trendy spot Atmosphere: Really nice resturant, huge bar front and a large dining area behind it. My favorite part of the resturant is the bar surrounding the grills where they cook. Great for dinner/show with all the flames. Service: Service was great, everyone was extremely nice and very attentive. Drinks: Cocktails were awesome, great flavor. Food: Honestly wasn't that great. Steaks were bland and chewy. Portion with the crab cakes was laughable. The signature prime 131 roll really upset me, if I had known I was paying $75 for a surf and turf roll I would have never ordered it. Literally a fried shrimp center for the roll with steak and unagi sauce on top. Deserts were just ok, unimpressed to the point we ate half our food and didnt take it home. Highlight food of the night was the bacon REALLY good. 3 people $800 not worth it

Prime 131 in Houston is an absolute standout and delivers the kind of dining experience that keeps you planning your next visit before you even leave. From the moment you walk in, the awesome bar atmosphere sets the tone…energetic, polished, and inviting, making it the perfect place to start the evening with a cocktail or settle in for the night. The food is exceptional across the board. The chicken fried lobster was incredibly flavorful and perfectly prepared, indulgent and memorable with the perfect crispness; the steak was truly fantastic, cooked exactly right, tender, and packed with rich flavor. Even the sides impressed, especially the broccolini, which was hands down one of the most delicious accompaniments on the table. What ties it all together is the terrific service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and makes the entire experience feel seamless and elevated without ever being stiff. If you’re looking for incredible food, top-tier service, and one of the best bar vibes in town, Prime 131 is a must-visit.

Prime delivered a memorable evening, starting with what may have been the largest bone marrow presentation I’ve ever seen. It was beautifully prepared, and very rich — and my hubby absolutely loved it. For a steakhouse, the sushi and sashimi selection was surprisingly solid. While not the highlight of the evening, it was certainly satisfactory and thoughtfully executed — a nice complement to the entrées. The Wagyu steak arrived slightly more cooked than requested, but it still delivered on flavor and tenderness. And a special note on the shishito peppers — they actually had a kick. Not the mild heat you sometimes get, but a noticeable spice that added a fun surprise. PS I'm Caribbean so this is very relative. Overall, Prime offered a strong dining experience with a few standout moments (that bone marrow!) and a few small opportunities for refinement. Worth a visit. The staff is very attentive and kind.

Good spot for steak. The sushi was flavorful and fresh. The filet was really good and seeing the open kitchen and fire adds to the experience. The loaded Mac and cheese was quite tasty and highly recommend it. Service by the waiter was good but it took forever to get our bar drinks so that was disappointing.

So, the 12 oz ribeye was the absolute best. Paired with the stuffed mac and cheese 🥰 neither are pictured but they were our faves. I enjoyed having fresh sushi options as well as traditional steak house offerings. The service was great and the vibes were nice. We will add Prime 131 to the rotation! Pictured are the dinosaur bone marrow, yellowfin carpaccio, and the Prime 131 roll. Of these three I liked the carpaccio the most. The dinosaur bone marrow was more braised short rib than bone marrow..
