In H town for a few days this was my first dinner on my list to try in downtown. Great experience. Service was on point. Hostess was incredible and our server took great care of us with some quick draw recommendations. Nice setting with a view of downtown. Quiet, which was perfect for catching up with an old friend. We got sushi, apps and a steak. All of it was awesome. Short rib tacos were awesome. The Angry Scorpion Roll was my personal fav. Can't go wrong.
The brunch menu is not as good as their dinner menu. I would not recommend going for brunch, but what we ordered was enjoyable. The service was good and the atmosphere was quiet. One major issue was booking the reservation. The online reservation system indicated there were no tables available at noon, but there were 2h earlier. However, when I phoned I was able to book a reservation. The restaurant was basically empty so I question is there is an issue with their online reservation system.
The empanadas were good. I enjoyed the churros very much. It’s overrated. In my opinion ppl hype it up because it’s inside the Four seasons hotel, more expensive does not mean better.
Had a great experience at Toro Toro Houston. The drinks were well crafted, and the churrasco-style steaks and grills were outstanding—flavorful and perfectly done. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience with a great vibe.
Booked dinner for 2 for my bday … Wednesday night, not crowded, great service and attention. Each dish had a “spin” … like “smoked guacamole”, “broccolini with macha sauce bits” We had the Churrasco … a complication of delicious meats carved table side” Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere!
