My daughter just started at All Things Swim last week and so far everything has been so smooth! The owner personally answers all of your questions and accommodates your needs. The lessons are very full for 30 minutes and my daughter already feels a bit more comfortable in the water. Some of the instructors are a lot more experienced and confident than others and you can choose which instructor you want your child to learn from, which is great.

Update 11/8/23: My child is now 3 and has been swimming independently since she turned 2. See us on tiktok MamaNBabykins. Emily trained her. She has been out of lessons for a long time and I have NO worries about this kid in the water. These people are fantastic! They really know how to connect with your child. On the first day I went, I had no clue how to get in the door. You can clearly see the pool through the windows at the front of the building, but there is a cute little resale shop to the side.. and the entrance to the pool is on the other side of the resale shop. The instructors stay in the water and you bring your kid to them. The first time I did this, Coach Ellee was able to calm my 17 month old daughter down right away and get her attention. She really has a wonderful, calm, and engaging demeanor, so great for the babies! One of the benefits of taking your child to this place is that your child will get one on one instruction and you don’t need to get in the water with them. The instructors don’t just teach your child how to swim, they teach them how to focus despite distraction, how to calm themselves, how to trust, and so on. They are good role models and they will never make you or your child feel like you are just dollar signs to them. They will not push your child beyond their limits and traumatize them either. They let the kids feel their feelings and help them learn how to deal with it and return to task. What they offer is about so much more than swimming safety, it’s whole child development.

I whole-heartedly recommend Emily & her team @ All Things Swim! My LO started when she was 2 and looks forward to her weekly lessons with her Coach “Emmy”. We split lessons with a friend to start and later graduated to full lessons - though we were tearful in the beginning (as to be expected), we have progressed so much over the last year and can’t wait to see how much we grow from here. The site is easy to send/receive prompt communication, sign-up for classes/instructors on days/times convenient for us (or schedule make-up sessions as needed), and the price is very reasonable. I love that I can sit poolside (not behind a glass wall) but have the option to step into the family room if needed - we always stop-in after lessons regardless for my LO to grab a prize and drink after her lesson. The coaches I’ve witnessed or personally experienced truly care about the kids they teach - couldn’t imagine going elsewhere. ❤️

Highly recommend this establishment. Everyone was super friendly and super professional. My daughter did so good. I couldn't believe how easy they were able to get her to go under water. Ms. Arrie thankyou for doing such a wonderful job with our princess. She is already excited about seeing you again.

The swim coaches are great but be prepared for frequent cancellations and last minute staff changes. My son is autistic and the staff has a lot of patience and will work with your child. My biggest complaint is that our sessions were frequently cancelled for one reason or another and I would either find out when I arrived to the pool or 30 minutes before class. My son was so frustrated that class was canceled so often and that it wasn’t worth his meltdown. The pool is warm for the kids but that means as a parent you are waiting in a hot room with limited ventilation.
