Hello, I would like to share my experience I had with my five year-old boy. He’s only been on these classes for a month and he’s been having great teachers and has been learning a lot until this week. Now I understand that instructors must leave children underwater on their own in order for them to learn how to navigate through the water. But, the instructor that was in charge of my son was leaving him underwater for way to much time to the point where he was panacking and trying to reach for the surface and the instructor just kept looking at him but wouldn’t help him until after. After every session my son is always comes out happy for having a great time learning how to swim. And this day he came out acting down saying “I don’t want to swim” and “I can’t swim” in a depressive mood. He is now quite scared of getting back into water. I hope my son gets over being scared of water for next week so he can be excited to attend sessions again. But I really believe other instructors should be focused on the safety of all of the kids during the sessions. If someone doesn’t feel like working with kids they probably shouldn’t be there.

Refreshing to find a place that is capable of accommodating a student with autism. Everyone I have spoken to has been patient with answering questions and beyond helpful in meeting our needs. Our instructors have been so kind, knowledgeable, flexible. Truly, it’s been a five star experience!

We love Houston Swim Club!! We’ve been coming here for about a year and we have loved our entire time here. Coach Janie is truly the best and such a fantastic teacher. They are so organized and on top of things here and I feel as though they truly care about my daughter and her swim experience. The front desk staff is also the sweetest and they always call me when there are changes in the schedule which I truly appreciate!

We love all the instructors. But our favourite and my son loves the most is Ms. Ally. She is exceptional.
