Been coming here for 10 years… first baby classes, then beginner through advanced swim lessons. Took a break after Covid and now we come back for their summer swim clinics which I think are a great way to start out the summer and make sure the kids remember and practice their proper swim techniques. I’m amazed at how clean and well kept the place is even after 10 years… clearly very well loved and managed!
We started swim classes at Pengu for our 2-year-old a month ago. Our son was nervous and cried during his first class, but the instructors were incredibly patient and helped him calm down while still getting through the lesson. He’s quickly become excited to go to class and is far more comfortable in the water. He loves looking over at us and shouting with excitement whenever he masters a new skill. The staff is wonderful and does a fantastic job meeting kids at every skill and comfort level.
My son has been at Pengu for 1.5 years (from 15 months) and has grown really comfortable in the water. He is really making big improvements and the teachers have done a great job, especially coach Diana recently who pushes him but also is silly with them so they have fun! The exercises they do are helpful for both swimming and safety (like climbing out of the pool independently).
My son has started swimming w Pengu since he was 8 months old. We loved it but decided it was a bit too far for us. We then tried Goldfish for a year as it was closer to our house but we regretted that decision. He’s back and we also enrolled our baby daughter in Pengu. The instructors are well trained, seasoned and push the kids enough to show progress. I’m so glad we came back and my kids love it here.
Coach Mo has been an amazing coach for my Daughter! He is the reason she wants to keep coming to Pengu and learn how to swim! He is fun and creative in his teaching methods! My daughter loves him as her coach 👏
