I absolutely love this swim school! The pricing is incredibly affordable, and both my toddler and I have had an amazing experience from day one. Coach Tony helped me conquer my fear of swimming as an adult with so much patience, encouragement, and positivity. Thanks to him, I now feel confident and excited in the water! Coach Ritzi has been phenomenal with my 3-year-old daughter, who is already floating independently and building so much confidence and joy in the pool. Every coach here is fantastic, including Coach Karen, who is incredibly patient, kind, and wonderful with toddlers. I can’t recommend this swim school enough for both adults and children. It’s truly an incredible investment in a lifelong skill and a fun, empowering experience for the whole family!
I was excited to start swimming lessons and I booked what I believed was a private lesson. They created a profile for me in their system for a lesson with Coach Lili from 6:30-7. The profile included my age, so it was clear I was an adult. They sent me a confirmation with the date and time as soon as I booked and took my credit card information. I cleared my calendar, prepared for the lesson and before I left had a nudge to call them to ensure all was set for my first lesson. Thank God I did because the lady I spoke to said even though I had received a confirmation, said there was no lesson. No heads up. No email. No text or communication whatsoever. The lesson was canceled without informing the customer, even though I received a confirmation with the date and time. If they canceled the lesson that was booked last week because it was an adult lesson, common courtesy dictates that communication should go out to the customer, so they can reschedule or arrange other plans for their time. They never acknowledged this and the manager or owner actually said she couldn't understand why I was upset, because after all they had not charged my card (even though they took my credit card information and sent a confirmation for the date, time and amount). I will never take a lesson there and would not recommend them.
My son has been coming here for at least 9 months now and we love it. He’s 2 years old and participating in swim class since 6 months old at another swim school. I noticed they weren’t actually teaching him skills so I switched to SHAC. My favorite pros are that my son has individual attention with the same coach every week, Coach Kayla, and I don’t have to get in the water with him. We’ve noticed tremendous progress since he’s been coming here. Most of all he has fun and his coach is so kind and loving with him. Every week he says “so much fun Ms. kayla” after class. It warms my heart to have an instructor provide such a happy time for him. He’s struggled with separation anxiety from time to time but Coach Kayla has been so patient and diligent building his confidence.
Disappointed! My son just turned 5 and we’ve been taking him here for swim lessons for almost 2 years, twice a week. Coaches kept leaving and new coaches had no ideas how to train and barely did any strokes correcting. They also did not teach side breathing and no clear curriculum. I’m taking my son out of this swim place!
This place is such an awesome facility! My daughter can’t wait for her lessons with Coach Jacob. Saw such an improvement in her swimming and in her confidence level after just a few lessons with him! They host birthday parties is well. Daughter just had a birthday party there recently and she had a blast! They provide lifeguards as well during these parties. You get out $100 off if you are member! Our children need to learn how to swim, that’s a must. Most deaths under the age of 5yrs occur due to a pool/water related death. This is main reason why I started group lessons for my daughter at 3yr (they offer private lessons as well if that’s more suitable). They even offer private lessons for adults. I need to undergo these classes, my child will be the one saving my life as of now! Ahhh!! ... Pool for the lessons is warm and used for the parties as well! Plenty of places for kids to shower and dress afterward! Thank you SHAC team! God bless.
