We enjoyed our visit to Bodegas Taco Shop. The shrimp taco was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the friendly service made for a pleasant experience. We'd happily return.
Today I just happened to be in the museum district downtown Houston. This is NOT a traditional Mexican restaurant. The fish tacos with black bean sauce and white rice are good. The fish sets on a bed of coleslaw, wrapped in corn tortillas. Adorned with Avacado slices. It's worth the 20 dollars for sure. The portions are filling. Nice atmosphere and a helpful staff. If you need a quick fix this is a decent place.
I ordered the fish tacos and a margarita. Food was decent at best and the margarita wasn't anything to write home about. I had my hopes up based on previous reviews. It wasn't all that great but it wasn't too bad either. Service was decent, but don't expect to be waited on. You order at one counter, pay at another and then just have a seat. If you need anything, you'll have to get up and either ask for it or find it yourself. Nice atmosphere though.
Friendly staff and delicious food!!! This might be the BEST BURGER in Houston. It has a tostada with beans and pico de gallo inside the burger, the combination with the secret sauce is amazing. The fries are fresh and crunchy. It’s a must go if you go to the science museum.
I LOVE this place!! I can show you how much with pictures:) It is nowhere near where I live but occasionally get to that side of town and get to indulge. I get taco salads just so I can dip the shell in their dressing. Had a lunch catered recently and I make sure to bring home leftovers. I love their dressing so much I will not even throw away the little remaining bit. I put that little almost empty container back in the fridge until I can eat every drop. Chuy's weird white chip sauce/dip doesn't even come close.
