Great food and even better service! The dripped fries were delicious and full of flavor. Alma and Julia were both incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit. They made sure everything was taken care of and provided excellent customer service with a smile. Their hospitality made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for those dripped fries and the outstanding service!
I recently visited Dripped Birria’s Midtown location, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While the presentation of the food looked appealing at first glance, the portion sizes were shockingly small—far smaller than what you’d reasonably expect for the price. It honestly felt misleading, as if the portions were designed to look more substantial than they actually were. The birria tacos were all street-sized tacos served on corn tortillas which are significantly smaller. This was not worth the $25 I spent. For a restaurant that specializes in birria, I expected a hearty, satisfying meal. Instead, I felt like I barely ate. The value just isn’t there, and it comes across as deceptive to customers who are expecting a proper serving. There are plenty of other restaurants out there that serve authentic, generously portioned birria without cutting corners or misleading their customers. I would strongly recommend exploring those options instead. I won’t be returning, and I hope others are aware of what to expect before spending their money here.
The smoked chicken quesadilla was amazing. I also tried the birria quesadilla and the dripped nachos. I found them on Door Dash during my Houston visit and it was sooo good, I had to go back before I left. Definitely added to my must haves in Houston!
Great tacos. Affordable and fast! It was so great to be able to find some great quality so late at night too.. Definitely will be back. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
First time in Houston and after a night out, this was the perfect place to come to have some tacos. Thanks to Alma, she gave an extraordinarily experience to us first timers, and I’d definitely come again. The quesabirria tacos, and customer service was perfect. It reminded me of some other great service that I had in Virginia. Shout out Alma!
