Our go to Thai place in downtown. Huge servings. The prices though has considerably gone up. The interior can use some renovations to keep it up to date. I’ve eaten most of the noodles and fried rice menu but my all time favorite is the crab fried rice. The pad thai is also good and hearty, although a bit on the soggy end. They serve you an egg roll appetizer and soup for free. Its been a tradition to bring newly minted employees here. The long wall back to the office at least compensates the carb loading
I had a very disappointing experience with this place. I ordered red Thai curry with vegetables, but I found a piece of chicken in it. This is completely unacceptable, especially for someone who orders vegetarian food. When I called the restaurant to inform them, instead of properly acknowledging the mistake, they offered compensation with vegetable fried rice. I clearly and explicitly mentioned no meat and no egg, yet they still added egg to the replacement dish. What made the experience worse was the impolite response from the staff. They were unwilling to accept their mistake and showed no accountability or courtesy. This raises serious concerns about food handling, communication between staff, and respect for customers’ dietary preferences. I would not recommend this place to vegetarians or anyone with strict food requirements.
Ordered with them saying 28 min delivery and 1 hr later it showed up. Literally 2 min drive from store . Food arrived cold and as seen in pic had to hear it up. Ordered spicy with a request for Thai spicy even and it had no spice or flavor. The wings were good at least but definitely won't order from here again.
This was originally Mango Tree so there are big shoes to fill. I ordered the Tom yum soup and pad Thai. These are staples at any Thai restaurant. Sadly the Tom yum was bland, lacking authentic flavors. The pad Thai was also a miss. Noodles were messy, flavors were off and it was just sweet. Mango tree, how I miss you. Came back again and tried the Tom Kha soup. It was okay although there was too much of one of the aromatics, maybe the galangal. Also tried the yellow curry. Again something was throwing me off with an unbalance of spice. Overall it’s okay.
The customer service was friendly, responsive, and quick. We ordered the: 1. Chicken Pad Thai - this dish was prepared well and very tasty. 2. Spicy cheese roll - this was delicious :)! 3. Chicken Yellow curry - this dish had a lot of flavor and great richness to the broth. Would order again, highly recommend! 4. Veggie spring roll - this was ok needs a little more vegetable. 5. Chicken Red curry - this dish also had a lot of flavor and richness. The spice level was perfect would highly recommend.
