OK, so let me tell you, this is an amazing place to eat! It is inside of a Plaza, but it has big heart! The ambience and atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms are clean. The service was amazing! And the food, oh my God, the food! I had the curry snapper dish with asparagus and bell peppers with white rice, it was amazing! My daughter got the fried garlic chicken with the little extra minced garlic on the side with the rice and the sauce with that chicken was amazing! This should definitely be a place if you come anywhere near the Houston area that you should visit. Unlike most times when I post, I actually took pictures before I scarfed the food down. Ask for Andrew. Special thanks to Anna Michelle and Renee… All of them are absolute sweethearts.

I want to start by saying this place has pretty good food. I wish I could give it a better score… I came in for lunch and was met with a fairly large menu with a big selection. I decided to try the soft spring rolls and steamed pork dumplings as the appetizer. These were both fresh and quite tasty. I’d lean towards the spring rolls over the dumplings, however. While the dumplings were good, you can find a lot better if that’s what you’re going for. I loved the peanut sauce and nice cold ingredients in the spring rolls. For the entree, I did the Red Curry lunch special (pretty good deal here. It includes the curry, rice, soup, and egg roll for $9.99). The egg roll wasn’t anything to brag about, but the soup was a nice warm start with the green onion and celery flavors. The curry itself was decent, just a little too creamy of a flavor, masking the true curry spices I was looking for (fun touch shaping the rice like a heart). Lastly, the Pad Kee Mow was very nicely done. I got the medium spice level and was quickly reminded of my spice tolerance and wished I had gotten the mild. Amazing flavor! Unfortunately, the staff became extremely overwhelmed with the lunch rush. I arrived when there were only two other tables occupied. What started as nice quiet experience in the cozy dining room turned into a loud and crowded space with a lot of people just standing in between tables either waiting for their to go orders to come out or to get a table. With the spice level of my noodles, I was really hoping for some more water, but the staff couldn’t keep up. When the server finally got back to me, I decided to pack the remaining noodles to go and get the check. If it wasn’t so packed, I would have stayed to try the Fried Bananas with Coconut Ice Cream. Overall Score: 6.9/10

This place is a gem!! Found this place while I was staying at MD Anderson for medical care. It's super close (about 1.5 miles from my hotel). It was such a cute place. It was quaint, personable and busy!! My sister and I had no trouble getting a table when we went but they were all full when we left. The cream cheese rolls were freaking amazing! We also had Pad Thai and Massaman Curry. Both dishes were very flavorful and the portions were generous!! They had a constant flow of to-go orders and door dash delivery drivers. That's usually a positive sign of a well-liked restaurant, and it lived up to it!! This place is a little gem!! Oh and the mango sticky rice for dessert was the best I've ever had! Go here. You won't be sorry! I look forward to coming again next time I'm in town for medical treatment!!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Morningside Thai for years, and it’s one of those places that just gets it right every single time. The food is always flavorful and satisfying. It’s a small, cozy spot that feels intimate without trying too hard. I rarely stray from my favorite—the Thai ground chicken with basil and a crispy spring roll combo is undefeated. Bonus: the lunch specials are priced just right.

We really enjoyed going to eat here! It was remarkably nice on the inside and we'll decorated and taken care of. The staff were very kind and attentive and took great care to make sure we were well fed. We ordered the curry balls, yellow and pineapple curry, and a dragon fruit drink; all of which were amazing! Would definitely recommend if in the area.
