Is my second time coming for dinner at this beautiful and Cousy neighborhood Thai restaurant!!! I love how everything taste so fresh !!! I highly recommend it!! If you haven’t tried it yet you don’t know what you missing !! Special shout out to Miguel!! For the secondly time he gets to be my server again !! And his service is impeccable, friendly and attentive ask for him to!!!

Thai Cottage Bellaire is a solid choice for authentic Thai food in the Houston/Bellaire area, but the standout dish for me was without a doubt the Thai Cottage wings. The wings were perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and coated in a rich, savory Thai sauce with crispy fried basil on top that adds a great aroma and texture. They’re bold, well-seasoned, and easily some of the best Thai-style wings I’ve had in Texas. The fried rice was also very good—well balanced, not greasy, and full of flavor, with generous portions that pair perfectly with the wings. Simple, comforting, and done right. Great food, consistent quality, and a place I’d gladly come back to—especially for the wings. Highly recommend if you’re in the Bellaire or Houston area and craving Thai food.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I have been a customer of Thai Cottage for more than 20 years, and this was, without question, the most disappointing experience I have ever had. The food quality was poor. My soup was watery and unappetizing, my meal was served carelessly, and I had to ask for extra sauce because it was lacking flavor. When I politely asked if I could substitute the soup for an extra egg roll since I did not care for the tofu in the soup, I was told that egg rolls could only be purchased separately. I accepted the response and moved on. What was most troubling was the customer service. One employee recognized me as a longtime customer and greeted me warmly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the manager’s attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. An older male employee was also rude, and the overall atmosphere became uncomfortable during my visit. As the only Black customer in the restaurant at the time, I left feeling unwelcome and treated differently. While I cannot speak to anyone’s intentions, I can speak to how the experience made me feel. After supporting this restaurant for decades, consistently spending my money there and treating staff with respect, I expected much better. This experience left a lasting impression, and unfortunately, not a positive one. I hope management takes customer service concerns seriously because no loyal customer should leave feeling disrespected after 20 years of support.!

I’ve been coming here for about 15 years. It’s always consistently good and I like that it isn’t one of those places where one time it’s good and the next time it’s different. I always get the same thing. Their peanut dressing salad and red curry. It’s my absolute favorite. Our waiter tonight was Miguel and he was very friendly and informative. We tried a few new things he recommended tonight that we really enjoyed.
