Whatever pic they have/had of the “shrimp nuggets” on here is not what I received. They’re more like fried shrimp patties than anything. Also, they were not appetizing at all. I did not like the salad (yes, how you mess up salad) more so because of the “dressing” that comes with it. The wings were the only thing, I BARELY ate and I didn’t even eat those. I only ate 3 out of 6 and THAT was being generous

Wonderful food and service from Jesus! We went and ordered Drunken Noodles with shrimp and chicken for main entree and Thai wings for appetizers and Thai donuts and sticky rice for dessert. All items were fresh and delicious. The shrimp were big and flavorful and juicy. Great spot we will be back!

Huge Asian Food enthusiast here, I have a particular love for Thai Food. Tried giving this place an opportunity, but not my thing. Need to highlight the Motivation, Charisma, Service and politeness of the counter guy! It was top notch! Dude truly deserves a raise! He loves his job and is something so pleasant to see, specially nowadays in the service industry where majority of workers seems to be disgruntled. I went on Thursday 7/24/25 9PM, so that guy on that shift, that’s the man !!! Had the Basil Chicken per his recommendation, but I just didn’t vibe with it, it was Ok. Will probably go back to try the Pad Thai as it is a signature Thai Dish that I feel is a must to be had when going to a Thai place for the 1st time, so I might go back to see what’s up with that one and update this review accordingly. Site looks clean, good ambiance that matches that party vibe that Houston area has. This might be a good place for quick meal when out drinking with friends and the hunger stings. Probably for a younger audience that is not too picky. I’m getting older and more demanding 🤣. My standards for Thai Food are probably too high since I’m a habitual Kim Dee goer, Thai Lovers, go there when you get a chance and you’ll see if I’m just talking for the talk or if I have some validity in my opinion. I would encourage everyone to support this place though, all customers seemed comfortable and happy. So it definetly needs a 2nd chance.

My wife and I are big Thai food fans and have tried many places around town. My wife sent me a link to Thai Tail months back and then again last week as she read tbe reviews, seen the photos, and wanted to give the location a try. We happened to be driving down the road and noticed it was on our route. We instantly turned around to try Thai Tail finally. The location has bright colors, outdoor covered patio space, good seating indoors, and was spotlessly clean everywhere you looked. We are in Houston, and it gets hot. Part of my experience that was definitely not enjoyable was that the air kicked on for a few seconds at a time then off for almost a minute then repeat. There was no constant airflow in the seating area which wasnt awesome, especially when you want to try some hot thai dishes. If it were just me, maybe no problem, but it was my wife, our baby, and myself. For this reason we had to adjust what we purchased because it would have been much to sweaty and hot sitting there eating. The staff were all extremely helpful and attentive. We walked in and looked up at the menu screen, not realizing that we had to order on the smaller counter screen. We ordered pad thai chicken, chicken satay wrap combo with fries, beef drunken dog combo fries, siracha wings, and 2 soft drinks. The food came out looking as expected, pleasing to the eye. The fries for the combo beef drunken dog came out after the other items. There was a significant difference in the amount of fries from the chicken satay wrap combo vs the beef drunken dog combo with fries. I would say the difference provided was about 50% from one dish to the other. I expected that the size/volume of the side would remain the same across all dishes. Chicken satay wrap was pretty good, fresh and flavorful and easy to eat in the heat. The drunken dog for sure needs a bigger bun to contain the dog, chili, any toppings in one bite. The flavors on the drunken dog were ok, not memorable or get it again next time kind of experience. Siracha wings were flavorful and tender but small. As an appetizer, the wings would be a repeat good choice. Pad thai chicken was pretty good all around. After tax and leaving a 3 dollar tip I spent a total of $59.93. For $60 i did expect to leave a bit more satisfied. I wouldn't fully write off the place as there are more dishes to try.
