Local foods has a very nice and welcoming store! The restaurant style is order at the front then the food is brought out to you. I liked the large variety of selections to choose from! Anything you are craving they have. Today I tried the salmon poke bowl, and the crunchy chicken sandwich. The poke bowl wasn’t like your typical poke- this one focused on seasonal produce! The bowl has salmon, tuneric sauce, radishes, carrots, broccolini, and sweet potato. Very very good. The sandwich was outstanding with fresh, crunchy bread, sliced chicken, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, potato chips, cracker crumbles, and bacon! So so good. Definetly worth a visit. The service was very good too as they brought the food to your table and cleared the table when you were finished. Thank you local foods!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the architecture and interior design make the place feel warm, modern, and inviting. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can enjoy both the food and the ambiance. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich and a Watermelon Lemonade, and both were excellent. The sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the lemonade was refreshing and delicious. The menu seems thoughtfully crafted, with well-balanced dishes that are satisfying without feeling too heavy. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and willing to help with any questions. Their positive attitude made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a quality meal in a beautiful setting, and I will definitely be coming back.

We frequently pick up sandwiches from Local, but today we decided to order some different menu items. We struggled a little with notably different portion sizes from other locations, but the food itself was adult great. Bussing staff were so friendly and attentive. It was very crowded when we went at 12:30 on a Saturday, but our food took less than 10 minutes to come out.

This has been a long time favorite for me. And before LF, Benjis was my favorite… the menu is always great with lots of variety. The chicken posole is amazing. I went for lunch with a friend, one of our regular spots.. they made a small insignificant mistake, on my order, so when the food came out and I noticed the mistake I mentioned it, and for a second I thane I forgot to specify, but my Freind said I had asked for GF, I told them I was happy to pay for the difference, they declined, corrected my sandwich, and someone else came out, maybe a manager and said they were going to refund my full lunch… I said it wasn’t necessary, it was an insignificant mistake, and they corrected it.. but appreciated the offer… well they insisted, and after brought me a complimentary GF brownie, which was amazingly good… I love this place for the food, the atmosphere and service.. today they went far beyond, to which I am grateful.. I often forget to review places… but the team deserves a perfect review… if I could it would be 10 stars.. thank you. Benji, you have a great team!!

Let's start with food & service since, without those, why dine out? The food is well-prepared & there is a wider menu variety here than you will find in most places. The service is attentive, polite, & helpful; as an added bonus, they have great senses of humor. The atmosphere is better than okay: comfortable & reasonably laid out. The inside space can get a bit crowded & difficult to navigate at times. Even when the restaurant is full, it's easy to have a normal conversation; this cannot be said for most full restaurants in Houston.
