I was highly anticipating the opening of my favorite restaurant’s second location, and it 100% exceeded expectations. There are some excellent additions to the menu (Bo La Lat). Most importantly it is the same awesome family running the show!

We were so happy this restaurant opened here!!! The food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing. The Vietnamese egg rolls and char grilled pork vermicelli were yummy. These were shareable and that made for an excellent value. Our check was less than $30 for two people! 🤩

We love and frequent their downtown location so I’m happy they were able to expand. Interior is bright and minimal but elegant. Highlight is still the phoenix chicken—love the egg rice it comes with—but our other entrees were great too. We prefer lighter, healthier fare and nothing was too oily or salty which I appreciated. Service from Joe was top notch. Can’t wait to become regulars at this new spot!

Just had dinner here last night after seeing that they were open on Richmond Ave and this was by the far the worst experience I've had in a restaurant, service-wise. Our server greeted us and let us look over the menu for a few minutes. When she came back to take our order, we wanted to get the Banh Cuon dish but she told us they were out of the fresh rice paper and referred us to get spring rolls instead. We agreed to it and she said we made a great choice by getting it. So we got that and and added two more items and a coconut juice beverage, then she left. We were confused why we weren't served water, but no biggie. We were able to get her attention and asked for two glasses of water. A few minutes went by, and still no water. Mind you, she passed us multiple times while taking care of one other table. Another server then stopped by to drop off a coconut juice I ordered, so we asked for two glasses of water from her. Again, another few minutes came by and no water. Then a gentleman, who I assume was part of managerial staff, came by and asked if we were all good and we asked if we could get two glasses of water. STILL, another few minutes went by and no one came by with water. We got our first dish out which was stir fried noodles. Still, no glasses of water. We were so confused about what was happening. This went on for a few more minutes and we flagged down 2 other people outside of our server for water. FINALLY, she came around and gave us two glasses of water. We then were dropped off a soup dish we ordered. Great, we have 2 out of the 3 dishes we ordered. Or so we thought. We were waiting on the spring rolls that she suggested and wondered why it hadn't come. Another table who arrived after us got his so when our server came by, we asked her about the status of the spring roll. Her response was "oh, you still haven't gotten it?" to which we responded "no, not yet." She said she will check with the kitchen and then came back. This is where it just becomes more of a mess than it already was. She then comes up with her handheld and says "What protein did you guys want for your spring rolls?" Instead of answering that, I ended up just being straightforward and asked if she spring rolls were even put in to begin with. She said no, and asked if we still wanted it. We declined. My friend and I were so dumbfounded at this entire experience that we just quickly tried finishing our food so we could leave. When she came by for the final time, she asked if we needed anything else and when I said "we can take the check, please" she just responded "okay!" and walked away. We paid, we left, and we were still in disbelief of what just transpired. The restaurant itself was not extremely packed that our server forgot multiple times about our water and order in general so I'm not sure what was going on that the service was extremely below the standard of what hospitality should be but this was NOT it. The interior of the restaurant is nice, I love the location, and food was alright. I was hoping to try the banh cuon, but I don't know if I will be back.
