Just a heads up, you pay up front and after placing your order, you choose your own table. Water is self service too! I ordered the following: Lemongrass pork baguette (Bahn Mi) Pho with lean brisket and fatty brisket At first I was shook by how a bahn mi can cost 13 dollars and pho can cost 16 dollars. But honestly, the price was pretty justified haha. Starting off with the bahn mi, there were plenty of pickled vegetables (which were sliced and folded very nicely) and generous amounts of lemongrass pork. The pork was marinated and flavored well- I will say though, although I love the chargrilled/smokey flavor, it was personally a little too strong for me. Everything else about the bahn mi was very well done though. The pho was delicious. Savory broth and the quality of meat was solid. Not sure if anything beats the OG’s in Bellaire but it’s pretty on par. Aside from the delicious food, the interior was beautiful. The decorations, set up, bathrooms, etc were all well put together. I hope to come back and try other items on their menu!

People were great, but other than bringing out the dishes, it's an entirely self-served restaurant. I love a restaurant running efficiently like that where they have everything you need stacked on the shelve. However, I don't like it if they still expect to be tipped. In general, I really appreciated how different they are from the typical Vietnamese restaurants. The rice and vermicelli dishes (the Thai Basil Chicken and Coconut Basil Shrimps) were very flavorful, fresh, healthy, & filling. However, when it comes to the Bánh Mì, I regretted that I ordered the 👎🏻beef belly 👎🏻based on the reviews. Although the flavor was decent, the beef belly was very hard to tear part with just your teeth 😅😣. I had to use my hands to pull them apart... You can imagine how chewy that was... That really dampened the experience... Furthermore, while I loved the size of the sandwich, but I then realized that the bread was not made of true Vietnamese French bread!!!! 🤯🙅🏻‍♀️ Nevertheless, I'm willing to give their Bánh Mì another try with pork or chicken. The bone marrow came out lukewarm. I liked it, but not so much that I'd order that again. I also wouldn't order the drinks again. Too much ice. The Vietnamese coffee tasted more like powdered coffee instead of freshly dripped espresso mixed with condense milk. Overall, it's a fun place to try something different.

If you only eat one meal today, let this be it. The portions match the price and everything was exceptional. The environment was clean and comfortable. While we were eating they had banger vietnamese rock playing, while listening you could hear the dimly lit smoke filled room while the performer sang his heart out, sweat dripping from his brow. The pho was rich and flavorful needing no additions tho the brightness from limes was welcomed. The lemongrass bahn mi was packed full of deliciously seasoned meat, nicely pickled bright veggies and decadent pate. The lemongrass bone marrow is not to be slept on, perfectly grilled and seasoned coming with a crispy dressed baguette and pickled julienned carrot and radish. The thai tea tea and Vietnamese coffee were of excellent standard too!

Very cool place with excellent modern Vietnamese food. The bone marrow was unlike any other I have had. Beware when using Uber to go there, as Uber has what must be their old address in their system and it took me to the wrong place.

LOVE this place! We always get the eggs rolls and vermicelli bowls. I get the shrimp one with the coconut sauce on the side, because their grilled shrimp seasoning alone is tons of flavor and I often don't need the coconut sauce! My husband gets the pork one, he loves it. Their vermicelli bowls has so many veggies and it just feels like a very fresh meal. Their fish sauce mix is amazing, it's just the right acidity and flavor. The place is very clean and they pack take away items very organized and well. The vibe is great when we dine-in. Highly recommend. One of the best Vietnamese food in Houston.
