The service was absolutely great. Its rare that we go anywhere and im blown away from the hospitality. Really enjoyed the drinks and food as well. I went for a more traditional vitnamese bowl of noodles and soup. The meat on the pepper steak was tender and full of flavor. They had a good selection of cocktails and wine. My only issue is the the lack of parking but thats always a problem in that area. The over all restaurant vibe is nice and relaxing even at its busier times.

Justin was amazing. He was very nice and attentive. He let you taking your time choosing your drinks instead of rushing you at the moment you just sat down. Making sure you’re good throughout your meals. Moon Rabbit is the best restaurant in town, they are professional. Always make you feel welcome and enjoy your time. The 2 girls at the front desk were sweet and friendly too. And the Margarita was really yummy ❤️ Great job as always Moon Rabbit!!! You’re the best!!!

Overall, flavors felt a bit toned down to accommodate the area. Morning glory was lackluster. Spring rolls didnt have any herbs, which seemed like a huge missed opportunity for flavor. The miso clay pot cod was slightly overcooked and needed finishing salt. The *best* dish we tried was the calimari -- sits upon the most divine green sauce. Cocktails were good. Id come back for happy hour and a good vibe. But for real soul satisfying vietnamese, I recommend elsewhere.

I was delighted to try Moon Rabbit while on a visit to Houston. We went for lunch/brunch on a Sunday. It has a large bar area and casual atmosphere. The food was delicious. Lots of flavor and excellent choices. It was so hard to decide what to get but we’re happy with our picks. The sandwich was huge! Be prepared to get a to go box😊

We ordered the morning glory, cucumber salad, banh xeo tostada (my favorite and highly recommend!), and the shaken beef. It was just the right amount of food for 2 women, and we enjoyed the bread pudding for dessert as well! It was surprisingly packed on a Monday night at 7:45 so I’m glad we had reservations. Free parking next to the restaurant and at the lot across the street. Good for groups of up to 6.
