Great place Came for a early dinner, the parking lot was very accessible. Which is very rare for the area. So that is a PLUS. The Pho was amazing, spring rolls are delicious. The atmosphere is very laid back and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Vietopia has to do better with not skimping on the meat and noodles in their one size large bowels for pho. I ordered the $18.99 2 meat beef pho for dinner and was told it was a great amount of food. I got it and there were literally 4 PEICES of meat in it, all around the same size in the pic even though I ordered 2 different types of meat !! The amount of noodles did not match the amount of broth I had either(shown below, I had tonsssss left). I won’t go back because Houston has sooooo many spots for pho that are cheaper and add in the appropriate/fair amount of meat and noodles. Besides this the food was good! Broth was flavorful! And the service was definitely great. But I won’t be back, it’s not a bad spot they just need to work on not skimping their customers with tons of broth and little to no meat and noodles.

Been coming here for 20 years! Best Vietnamese Hot and Sour soup in the city, but be sure to get the traditional shrimp. It’s perfect. Knockout Vietnamese crispy egg rolls with loads of yummy marinated carrots, daikon and veg to roll up- highly recommend the vegetarian version because the dipping sauce is superior. All of the spring rolls are delicious. Great dumplings. Excellent curry. One of the best pork fried rice dishes out there. We don’t usually do the American Chinese dishes but they’ve been pretty good when we have. The staff are splendid. Service is always top notch. Oh! and the Vietnamese coffee is dangerously delicious. We love Vietopia❤️

Vietopia is more than a restaurant to me, it’s part of my Houston story. I first found Vietopia as a young single girl who had just moved to Houston, and it quickly became my comfort place. When I was sick, their soups took care of me better than anything else. When I was celebrating, their cucumber jalapeño martinis were pure magic. And when I needed to chow down with my girls, flaming beef with tomato rice was the ultimate go-to. Every dish is consistently incredible. Over the years, this restaurant has grown with me. I’ve been bringing my son Henry to their Lunar New Year lion dance show since he was a baby, and it’s become one of our favorite traditions. Watching him light up year after year is something I’ll always treasure. Sammi and her family run this place with so much heart. They always take such good care of us, and the service is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. It’s the kind of place where you feel known. Now I bring family and friends here whenever I can because the food is fantastic and the experience is even better. Vietopia isn’t just a restaurant... it’s woven into my life in Texas. Not only is this the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had, it could be the best food I’ve ever had. I had the flaming beef. Ty, the bartender talked me into a delicious Vietnamese beer. The service was impeccable and professional. Sammie, the Owner was welcoming and gracious. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. It’d be three if I had another hand.
