Stop #1 on our Houston cidery & brewery exploration: City Orchard Great cider, especially the Autumn Harvest. Really impressed with the quality and the huge selection — plenty of options for just about every palate. A strong first stop and a place we’d gladly visit again.
City Orchard is a hidden gem. Though selfishly I hope it stays one of Houston’s best kept secrets, it deserves all the praise and glory for its outstanding service, great food, and fantastic cider. Highly recommend the Hazy Gold cider - one of the best ciders I’ve EVER had, not just in Houston. The mushroom pizza is also to die for and a must on cauliflower crust. I have a gluten allergy and it is one of the first and only bars that has successfully accommodated me and I have never gotten sick from. Truthfully, I could come for the pizza alone. The pepperoni is also fantastic - which is why it tends to disappear quickly and difficult to get a picture of. The service is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. We are frequent flyers at their Thursday night trivia, and we look forward to it every week because we know we’ll receive great service, delicious food and drinks, and have a great time. Kudos, City Orchard!
First time at City Orchard and we LOVED IT! Started with a cider flight, then added some wings and a pretzel. Highly recommended, we had an amazing time.
Loved the cozy vibe at City Orchard! I ordered the charcuterie set and was surprised by how generous the portion was, definitely enough for two. The set came with a great mix of cured meats, artisan cheeses, marinated olives, roasted nuts, and fresh baguette slices. The cider, brewed right on-site, was crisp and refreshing. A perfect pairing for a relaxing evening. Great spot to unwind!
Went here on a Friday night. We really enjoyed ourselves! Service was 10/10 and their ciders were delicious. We started with two flights to decide which carafe we were gonna get. By the end of the night we had two carafes and took a growler home! Everything was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. Shannon provided great customer service she was very sweet and patient with us! Will definitely be back and plan on celebrating my birthday here!
