Fun place but the entrance smells like garbage. For the high price of the food it was disappointing that it that the portions were small and served on paper products. The old fashioned was good, again, served in disposable cups. Huge carbon footprint. That being said, the chicken sandwich was good. I ordered fried and got grilled, but I was quite happy with it. Fries were good. Great place for private functions. I attended a reunion for Astroworld employees.

Stopped in for dinner and drinks after visiting Meow Wolf, just a few minutes away. Nestor took great care of us at the bar. We happened to be there on a Wednesday, which means happy hour all day and tacos available from the kitchen. We shared a whiskey flight with the Giant Bourbon, rye and brandy. All three were utterly drinkable, and all went well with our dinner of steak tacos and chicharrones with guacamole. The food was up there with just about any traditional Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The steak was tender and flavorful, the guacamole was not overly tricked up, and the house fried chicharrones were light and crispy and nicely seasoned.

Great food and great dancing! Dj Salsa Eddy sets the room on fire with the best jams for all styles of Latin dancing. The staff at GTD are very attentive and nice! They're always on the move, greeting, checking in and serving. I love coming here for the atmosphere and the dancing!

Giant Texas deserves all the love it can get. The kind of place you tell your friends about. What a place! It offers many fun nights with great food and drinks. The bartenders here are awesome and fun, make you feel like a regular on day 1. You can also get select bottles engraved with your name or logo. They offer distillery tours as well and everything here is Houston made. Don’t even think twice about it, just come.

I just recently discovered this place a few days ago. I was in the area so i decided to stop by. Looks like i found me a nice little hidden gem that i will gladly be coming back to. Bartender Glen was awesome, the food was great and the whiskey was really good as well. I ordered an old fashioned but he was kind enough to let me try a few samples of different whiskey which were all very tasty. My fav was the 120 proof. Bottom line, i will definitely be coming back and im definitely telling my friends about this spot so come check it out. I highly recommend the high proof burger as well.
