Nice brewery with awesome views of the city of Houston. Its a three floor brewery, as soon as you enter the first floor you will see a bar. It was a little awkward and confusing to us being our first time, mainly because nobody welcomes you or ask/tell you where you want to go. After we asked, we proceeded to the seconf floor where the restaurant is. It was during the world cup games so they had a special food and drink menu. We ordered the brisket tacos, which were good in size, meat portion, and flavor. For drinks I ordered one of the special summer cocktails, the space city cooler and it was refreshing and delicious. I noted that all the servers were serving any table, they were not asigned by tables or area. So we had to wave down to whoever was wearing a uniform shirt. We had different people asking how our table was doing, again I dont know if this is the usual dynamic. Anyways, after the food we went to the third floor or rooftop for the views ans to take pictures. Note that one, the have stairs ans an elevator, two, you can walk around the building with your drinks. They seemed to have a stage area. Im not sure if the hold special events or live music. Something important if you are going to an Astros game ans show your tickets they will give you an extra discount. Also parking was plenty and not crowded around the time we went. I would go back. I recommend it as well.

Tejas is GREAT! Service is on point from the moment you get there. Food is also amazing! My favorites are the nachos with chicken, buffalo wings and finish it off with the strawberry cheesecake empanadas. My go to beer is the Light beer. Its better than any other light beer I've had before. Great place with great food/beer and an amazing view.

Tejas at its best! Service and atmosphere: Awesome! both were great plus fantastic location overlooking beautiful Houston downtown. All staff members were friendly and super helpful not to mention level of attentiveness. Food and drinks: Again, very good in both areas. The drinks were outstanding. I really like that their support local business and serve bourbon from Houston distillery. Their beer reminds me of European pour. Very good! Food was tasty and you can choose from loaded nachos to salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, you name it! Pricing: $$ - super worth everything we ordered.

A mix of Tejas Brewery and Giant Distilling for your cocktail needs. Three levels... A basic bar downstairs.... Restaurant second level with AC .. and the third level bar with THE downtown view. Tejas Clara and Tejas Negra are both very good beers... They make some very good cocktails here also.

I’ve been here 3 times for our monthly Book Club Meeting and love it. First of all, they have free parking which is a huge plus. As soon as you walk in, you can take either the stairs or elevator to the second floor and you can then sit indoors or outdoors with a great view of the city. Even though they are a brewery, they have delicious cocktails and I recommend the Tejas Bramble (Bluebonnet Gin, blackberry, lemon juice). For my meal, I’ve had the Loaded Nachos (Tejas Negra queso, refried beans, cabbage, pickled onion, chilis, pico de gallo, salsa verde, queso fresco, crema, cilantro) twice and will most likely order them again. Service is okay. I will be back!
